The invention relates to a knuckle with a thermal protector. The invention is suitable for suspension systems, steering systems or stabiliser bars which are disposed close to an excessive heat-generating source, such as a brake. The invention essentially comprises a thermal protector (9) which is built into the knuckle. According to the invention, the upper surface of the knuckle is equipped with a series of flexible radial flat bars (10) defining a circular hole (11) therein. The aforementioned hole is coupled to a connector ring (12) which has been pre-connected to the neck (7) of the dust seal (6) which is over-injected, pressure-injected and/or glued. In this way, the above-mentioned thermal protector (9) covers the dust seal (6) in order to protect same against high temperatures generated close thereto.
