The invention relates to a method for the efficient optimisation of cellular wireless message networks and a device for the alteration of said method in a cellular wireless message network to give an optimised network configuration by suitable changes to certain settings of the original network configuration, with the goal of a most evenly-balanced distribution of the user traffic per radio cell, formed by an accumulation of suitably-weighted, service-specific user traffic values across the radio cell surface in a radio network model, which are determined between the individual radio cells and optionally supplied to the message network as a new network configuration, which permits an at least as good, however mostly better throughput than the original network configuration, with an at least as good, however mostly better network quality, for example illustrated by a reduced blocking rate for attempted connections, whilst retaining the original network cover.
