A refrigerator where a deodorizing device is provided in a freezing space in addition to a refrigerating space. As a result, in either of the spaces, food can be cooled and preserved in a condition where odor transfer is reduced. In the refrigerator, a refrigerating space (2) and a freezing space (5) are laid out in a heat-insulated box body, and each of the spaces is provided with a dedicated cooler (6, 8) and is controlled for cooling by forcibly circulating cold air. The refrigerator is characterized in that a deodorizing device (15) constituted of an ozone-producing device (20) and ozone-decomposing means (21) is provided in each of the refrigerating space and in the vicinity of a cold air-circulating circuit (16) of the freezing space.
