<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cogeneration system which materializes further improvement of energy efficiency of a system by collecting generated heat in an inverter. <P>SOLUTION: The cogeneration system is equipped with a cogeneration device 2 for generating heat and electric power, a first heat recovery device 10 for collecting generated heat of the cogeneration device 2, a hot water storage tank 22 for storing hot water, an inverter 12 for linking generated electric power of the cogeneration device 2 with a commercial system 14, a second heat recovery device 38 for collecting generated heat in the inverter 12. In the system, the generated heat of the cogeneration device 2 is collected by the first heat recovery device 10. The generated heat in the inverter 12 is collected by the second heat recovery device 38.
