<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology to avoid the operation of a reforming part in a state that the reforming reaction does not proceed satisfactorily when the ratio S/C of the number S of water molecules contained in a premixed fuel to the number C of carbon atoms in a raw fuel in a tank increases. <P>SOLUTION: This fuel reforming apparatus is provided with: a reforming part which reforms the hydrocarbon-based raw fuel to produce gaseous hydrogen; a premixed fuel supply part which includes a premixed fuel tank for storing the premixed fuel prepared by previously mixing the raw fuel with water and supplies the premixed fuel to the reforming part; an estimation part which estimates the S/C of the premixed fuel in the premixed fuel tank; and a control part which controls the operation of the fuel reforming apparatus on the basis of the the estimated S/C obtained in the estimation part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
