摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor laser transmission control circuit wherein a transmission average optical output is set at a target value and a desired quenching ratio is realized, by setting a bias current through a feed forward control, and by controlling the modulation current of a semiconductor laser through the feed forward control. <P>SOLUTION: The semiconductor laser transmission control circuit is equipped with a photodiode PD detecting the optical output of the semiconductor laser LD, a temperature control circuit 6 which changes a bias current so as to set the quenching ratio of the semiconductor laser LD at a desired value corresponding to the temperature detected by a temperature sensor 61, and a control unit 5 which controls the modulating current of the semiconductor laser LD so as to set the optical output detection value detected by the photodiode PD at a target value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
