<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the indoor amenity and the energy saving by providing an air conditioner capable of easily setting an airflow control pattern corresponding to an installation condition. <P>SOLUTION: An indoor machine Z<SB>1</SB>is provided with an infrared ray sensor 15 detecting a radiation temperature of an indoor space and an airflow adjusting means 52. The airflow adjusting means 52 comprises a horizontal blade 13 for changing the blowout direction in the vertical direction, of the blown out air, a vertical blade 12 for changing the blowout direction in the width direction, and an air volume blade 11 for changing the volume of the blown-out air. A storing means 53 stores a plurality of airflow control patterns corresponding to the installation conditions of the indoor machine Z<SB>1</SB>, as control patterns of these three blades. On the other hand, the information detected by the infrared ray sensor 15 is stored in the storing means 53. One of the plurality of airflow control patterns is determined when the installation condition of the indoor machine Z<SB>1</SB>is selected, and the direction and volume of the blown out air are controlled on the basis of the information detected by the infrared ray sensor 15. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
