PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a honing stone having high processing accuracy, and having the long service life, by correcting abrasion of the stone by the parallel expansion of an abrasive grain parallel expansion part forming a biting corner part and a processing dimension finishing part. SOLUTION: An abrasive grain part is formed by joining and holding abrasive grains to and by an outer peripheral surface of a cylindrical part 3 formed in a honing stone body 2. The biting corner part 5 and the processing dimension finishing part inclined so as to become a small diameter toward the edge, are formed in an end part of the abrasive grain part. The abrasive grain part parallel expansion part is formed by cutting the end part of the abrasive grain part in a zigzag shape by a first slit 8 and a second slit 9 extending in the axial direction. A tapered hole is formed over the total length of the abrasive grain part parallel expansion part on a cylindrical part inner peripheral surface. A tapered cone 19 is fitted over the total length in the tapered hole, and a position is adjusted in the axial direction, and the abrasive grain part parallel expansion part is expanded in parallel.
