PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article so structured that its thickness is difficult to be increased by restoring force after pressurized and made to be thin. SOLUTION: This absorbent article contains a water-absorbing resin composite material composition, wherein the composition contains water-absorbing resin particles and fibers and has a recovery percentage of≤50% which is defined as [(A-B)/B]×100 (A is a thickness of the water-absorbing resin composite material composition, measured by applying a pressure of 100 Kg/cm<SP>2</SP>to the composition for 10 min to compress the composition, storing the compressed composition for 30 day, and subjecting the thickness of the stored composition to measurement; and B is a thickness of the composition, measured immediately after the composition is compressed).
