PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication system and a method of correcting a signal for transmission in a transmitter to reduce a peak level relevant to the signal. SOLUTION: The system comprises a signal changing unit for correcting an input signal to reduce a peak signal level in relation to the input signal and for supplying the input signal after being reduced its peak level, and a power amplifier for amplifying an indication signal relating to the input signal which is reduced in its peak level and the correction of the input signal performed by the signal changing unit, in which the indication signal is used to reconstruct the original configuration from the input signal by a receiver.
