BENTONITE MEMBER AND METHOD FOR INSTALLING IT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bentonite member and a method for installing it which can improve the workability of the installation thereof. SOLUTION: A bentonite block 10 is mounted outside a segment 20 by inserting an inserted bar stock 30 into an insertion hole 11 of the bentonite block 10 as a bentonite member via a through hole 21 of the segment 20 as a supporting board in a process for mounting it. In a process for installing the bentonite member, the bentonite block 10 is installed together with the segment 20 on a secondary lining concrete 43 and the inserted bar stock 30 is removed. In a process for inserting a bentonite bar body 14, it is inserted into the insertion hole 11 from which the inserted bar stock 30 was removed after installing the bentonite block 10 and the segment 20.
