PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hinge capable of reliably and consistently locking an opening/closing member in a closed state without providing any special locking mechanism. SOLUTION: The hinge comprises a supporting member 1 fitted to an equipment body, a supporting shaft 4 fitted between right and left supporting plates 1b of the supporting member 1, a plurality of friction plates 3 which are rotatably fitted to the supporting shaft 4, and a rotary shaft 2 which supports an opening/closing member in an opening/closing manner, and is rotatably fitted to the supporting member 1 with abutting surfaces 3b of the friction plates 3 to be elastically friction-abutted thereon. A flat part 3b1 is formed on the abutting surfaces 3b, and a flat part 2a to be matched with the flat part 3b1 is formed on the rotary shaft 2 when the opening/closing member is in a closed state.
