PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an objective lens driving device having a mechanism for regulating the operation of a simply structured movable part. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a fixed part having a base 1 and magnets 16a and 16b mounted on the base 1, and a movable part having a lens holder for holding an objective lens 2, and at least focus and tracking coils attached to the lens holder 1. The movable part is supported on the fixed part by wires 4a to 4c and moved at least in focusing and tracking directions. In one of the fixed and movable parts, a first stopper 23 is disposed to be protruded to the other side thereby regulating the operation range in the tracking direction. The first stopper 23 faces the position setting parts 24a and 24b of a second stopper 24 disposed on the other through a gap to regulate the operation range in the focusing direction and also serves as a means for regulating the operation range in the focusing direction.
