PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pair of binoculars in which the positions of right and left eye pad members can be quickly and easily adjusted. SOLUTION: The pair of binoculars 1A is provided with a pair of observation optical systems 2L and 2R, a focusing ring 3 which is rotated so as to focus the observation optical systems 2L and 2R, a pair of eye pad members 4L and 4R which are arranged on the eye side of the observation optical systems 2L and 2R, and can be displaced in the directions of optical axes O<SB>1</SB>and O<SB>2</SB>with reference to eyepiece systems 22L and 22R, an eye pad interlocking mechanism 5A of simultaneously displacing the eye pad members 4L and 4R in the directions of the optical axes O<SB>1</SB>and O<SB>2</SB>and an operating member 6 which is operated so as to actuate the eye pad interlocking mechanism 5A.
