PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a C-ring assembly apparatus capable of easily and inexpensively exchanging a chuck member 41 by providing a plurality of linear elastic bodies 7 separably from a tool holding member 9. SOLUTION: A chuck tool is constituted only of the plurality of linear elastic bodies 7 which can elastically deform in a radial direction, and the plurality of linear elastic bodies 7 are structured to be capable of being drawn out from/inserted into a plurality of insertion holes 63 formed on a cylindrical part 60 of the tool holding member 9. That is, the plurality of the linear elastic bodies 7 are structured to be capable of being separated from the tool holding member 9 of a chuck body 8, whereby the chuck member 41 can be exchanged only by a simple operation of drawing out the plurality of elastic bodies 7 from the plurality of insertion holes 63 of the tool holding member 9 without removing a bracket 46, a bush 47 and the member 9 from the chuck body 8 for the replacement of the chuck member 41.
