FIELD: agriculture. ^ SUBSTANCE: the method deals with measuring and detecting daily average body temperature in animals at optimal and extreme environmental temperatures followed by evaluating animals by index of resistance detected by the following formula: where - daily average body temperature of concrete animal and average daily temperature of animal group detected, correspondingly, as average between morning and daytime values in extreme conditions at air temperature at daytime being 30 C not lower at interval between detections of 11-13 h; - the same under optimal conditions at air temperature being 10 ± 2 C.
