<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus that can clearly display discharge information on a paper to be discharged. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus has a scanner part 3 arranged above an apparatus main body 101, an imaging part 101 arranged below the apparatus main body, an in-body paper discharge part 4 as a space provided to the apparatus main body 101 between the scanner part 3 and imaging part 1, a light source 302 for document reading provided in the housing of the scanner part 3, and a light transmission part 309 which is provided on the in-body paper discharge part side of the housing of the scanner part 3 and transmits the light of the light source 302 for document reading, and irradiates the in-body paper discharge part 4 where a paper is discharged by transmitting the light from the light source 302 for document reading through the light transmission part 309. A disk type light transmission part 311 provided to the light transmission part 309 changes the color tone of the light irradiating the in-body paper discharge part according to the size of the discharged paper. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
