LIGHT SOURCE ASSEMBLY, BACKLIGHT ASSEMBLY HAVING THE SAME, AND LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light source assembly for preventing direct transmission of heat generated together with light to an optical member, to provide a backlight assembly having the light source assembly, and to provide a liquid crystal display device.

SOLUTION: A radiation part is installed between a light source unit and the optical member so that heat generated together with light in the light source unit is not directly transmitted to the optical member connected to the light source unit. The radiation part is drawn from the light source unit or drawn from a housing container in which the light source unit and the optical member are housed. Light transmitted from the light source unit to the optical member is decreased with the radiation part to decrease the shape deformation of the optical member, and drop in display quality of an image formed in a liquid crystal display device can be prevented.
