<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a signal transmission device in an automobile and a signal transmission method capable of reducing an increase in vehicle weight by wiring by utilizing a power supply line for wiring between signal generators with sensors installed in the automobile and a signal receiver and reducing the amount of wiring operation also in the installation of a new sensor. <P>SOLUTION: This signal transmission device in the automobile for transmitting signals from the signal generators 11a and 11b with the sensors installed in the automobile to the signal receiver 14 comprises a pulse current generating means flowing a sensor-specific pulse current 13 in a predetermined procedure between the common power supply line of the automobile and a vehicle body earth when the sensors of the signal generators with the sensors are operated and the signal receiver discriminating the operated sensor by collating the pulse current in the predetermined procedure by detecting the pulse current. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
