<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air cleaner capable of utilizing gas-liquid contact to efficiently treat air containing a plurality of kinds of contaminants. <P>SOLUTION: This air cleaner comprises a gas-liquid contact means for reducing the contaminants in air by bringing the air into contact with a treatment liquid, and an operation means operated for changing the treatment liquid in reducing the contaminants. In one embodiment, the operation means consists of an air blow switching means and a switching operation means; the air blow switching means is switched by a user's operation of the switching operation means. In another embodiment, the operation means consists of a pH control means and a pH operation means; the pH of the treatment liquid of the gas-liquid contact means is changed to an appropriate pH for treating contaminated air by the pH control means by the user's operation of the pH operation means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
