PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crushing apparatus which easily bonds a lead to a member body, and performs both of a cutting work to cut the protruding end of the lead to a predetermined length and a crushing work to crush to the tip of the protruding end of the lead in one apparatus. SOLUTION: The lower die 20 of the apparatus is provided with: a cutter part slidably provided in a direction orthogonal to the protruding end to be crushed and to cut to the predetermined length the protruding end of the lead which protrudes longer than the predetermined length from the end surface of the member body; a sliding punch 24 provided with a crusher part to crush the tip of the protruding end cut to the predetermined length; and a spring 32 to energize the sliding punch 24 so that the punch is separated away from the protruding end. Further, the apparatus is provided with the upper die 10 which is contacted and separated to and from the lower die 20, and the upper die 10 is provided with a cum member 46 which forcibly slides the sliding punch 24 in the direction of the protruding end against the energizing force of the spring 32, when the upper die 10 comes close to the lower die 20.
