PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a torque motor which can improve a size reduction and a weight reduction by constituting a rotor and a stator so that a necessary operating angle range may be satisfied in the torque motor having an operating angle range of less than 180°. SOLUTION: The torque motor includes the stator (20) having two magnetic poles (21, 22) opposed to the rotor (10), a core (23) having a communicating part for communicating the respective magnetic poles, and a coil (30) provided in the communicating part of the core. Three magnets (12) are provided on the periphery of the rotor so that the magnetic poles of the outer periphery become a sequence of N pole, S pole and N pole or S pole, N pole and S pole and an angle of the outer periphery with the three magnets is less than 360°. An angle formed between a straight line for connecting a center (P21) of the one magnetic pole to a center of rotation (P10) of the rotor and a straight line for connecting a center (P22) of the other magnetic pole to the center (P10) of rotation of the rotor is less than 180°.
