PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile unit monitor system, a mobile unit monitor method, and a mobile unit without the need for an exclusive system in order to supervise the mobile unit for entry/leaving of the mobile unit to/from a designated area. SOLUTION: The mobile unit 1 registers the designated area 4 and communication destination information of a supervisory terminal 3 to its own mobile unit 1, after starting measurement of the position of its own mobile unit 1, the mobile unit 1 checks whether or not its own mobile unit 1 enters the designated area 4 or whether or not its own mobile unit 1 leaves the designated area 4, the mobile unit 1 transmits the measured position of the mobile unit 1 to the monitor terminal 3 denoted by the communication destination information when its own mobile unit 1 enters the designated area 4 or its own mobile unit 1 leaves the designated area 4, and the monitor terminal 3 receives the position of the mobile unit 1 from the mobile unit 1 and displays the position.
