摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an azobenzene derivative which can give sufficient light fastness to an electrophotographic photoreceptor without harmful effects on its electrical characteristics by including the derivative in a photosensitive layer of the photoreceptor, and also to provide the photoreceptor having excellent electrical characteristics and sufficient light fastness, and an image formation apparatus. SOLUTION: This azobenzene derivative is represented by formula (I) (wherein Ar<SP>1</SP>and Ar<SP>2</SP>are each independently an arylene group which may have a substituent having≤0.20 of the substituent constantσ<SB>m</SB>of substituted benzene in Hammet's rule; R<SP>1</SP>is an amino group which may have a substituent; and R<SP>2</SP>is an alkenyl group which may have a substituent). The electrophotographic photoreceptor has the photosensitive layer formed on a conductive support while containing the azobenzene derivative, and is installed in the image formation apparatus.
