PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate understanding of interface information of a program fragment, and to efficiently carry out program maintenance such as refactoring. SOLUTION: A program storing part 11 is provided for storing a program, a parsing/dependence information generating part 12 is provided for generating dependence information and a syntax tree in regard to the program, a dependence information storing part 13 is provided for storing the dependence information, a syntax tree storing part 14 is provided for storing the syntax tree, a dependence information tracking part 17 is provided for extracting the interface information of the program fragment in response to specifying information specifying the program fragment and extracting a part of the program fragment related to the interface information in response to selection information for selecting the interface information, and an information input/output part 15 is provided for passing the specifying information and the selection information to the dependence information tracking part 17 and outputting the interface information and the part of the program fragment passed from the dependence information tracking part 17.
