PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect a position of an object even a barrier is shielding in-between. SOLUTION: A light source 101 is arranged on the object while emitting light, which is taken as an image including indirect lighting points reflecting on the indirect light points forming surface such as ceiling, wall surface, thereby coordinates of indirect light points are obtained. The position of the light source 101 is detected by transforming the spatial coordinates including the object. Because the point of the light source is detected based on the indirect light points, the position of the light source can be detected even the barrier is shielding between the camera photographing the image including the indirect light points and the light source.
