PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pipe insulator mounting jig capable of enhancing the easiness in the mounting operation for a pipe insulator on the nut-fitted piping. SOLUTION: A first 15 and a second split jig piece 16 are coupled together rotatably by a rotary coupling part 19 and are held by magnets 15e and 16e in the normal condition as shown in Fig. (a) so that the split surfaces 15c and 16c of conical half-split shape parts 15a and 16a contact with each other while the split surfaces 15d and 16d of two half-split shape parts 15b and 16b for accommodating a nut are opened from each other, and when the resilient force in the direction in which the pipe insulator contracts is applied to the half-split shape parts 15b and 16b, the split surfaces 15d and 16d of these parts 15b and 16b are approached to each other as shown in Fig. (b) and put in pressure contact with the outside surface of the nut.
