PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a synchronizing device for a manual transmission capable of reducing the wear of an index part of a synchronizer ring owing to repetitive collisions of a hub with the index part resulting from the rotational variation of an engine, enabling a smooth supply of the lubricating oil, and thereby reducing the seizure and the wear of a cone surface. SOLUTION: The synchronizing device of the manual transmission is equipped with the hub 3 in which the peripheral part 31 is engaged with a sleeve 2 to be selectively engaged with part 111 of the synchronizer ring 1 as the synchronizing device, wherein an index groove 34 to constitute an index part 4 to be engaged with the other end of the ring 1 is formed in a part 321 near the boss 30 in the center formed in a single piece with the peripheral part 31 of the hub 3, and an inner ring 11 installed inside an outer ring 12 to constitute the peripheral part of the ring 1 is furnished with an engagement part 112 as one end of the synchronizing device to constitute the index part 4.
