PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper tube residual material removing device for removing a continuous material remaining on a paper tube after the continuous material wound round a core tube is supplied from the core tube, efficiently removing the remaining material, preventing the generation of dust in cutting, and securing the availability of the core tube. SOLUTION: A laser beam 14A is applied to a residual paper 22 part which is the residual material of the paper tube 12 fixed at both ends of the core tube 21 by fixing parts 13A, 13B by a laser irradiating means 14 and the residual paper 22 is axially cut by sublimation to be removed from the core tube 21.
