PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bio-absorbent suture fixing device which fixes a flexible tissue to a bone. SOLUTION: This bio-absorbent suture fixing device is constituted in such a manner that the fixing device itself is anchored and fixed in a bone cavity in a small joint. The fixing device 10 is equipped with a long and thin main body section 12 which is determined by the longitudinal axis, a first leading end section 14 and a second tracing end section 16. The long and thin main body section has two surface sections 20 under a confronted state between the first and second end sections, and a plurality of side wall sections 22 which extend in a space between the two surface sections under the confronted state. A flare-like section 24 which is formed at the second end section of the long and thin main body section extends from one of the side wall sections, and is adapted for being engaged and fixed with/in the bone tissue when the flare-like section is anchored. A suture passage 32 extends in a space between the two surface sections under the confronted state, and the suture passage is formed in the long and thin main body section in order to pass a suture in the long and thin main body section.
