PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable to realize a new transmission system by transmitting a transmission signal as a voltage signal and a reception signal as a current signal in ultrasonic diagnostic equipment. SOLUTION: A transmission signal is transmitted by a bypass circuit 204 to a signal line 20A in a main body side transmission circuit (a first transmission circuit) 208. A reception signal is detected as a change of a collector current of a base grounded type transistor Q1 during reception time. The transmission signal is supplied to a vibration element 14 through a bypass circuit 212 in a probe side transmission circuit (a second transmission circuit) 18. The reception signal from the vibration element 14 is converted by a transistor Q2 from the voltage signal to the current signal and the current signal is sent to the main body side as the change of the collector current of Q2 flowing in the signal line 20A.
