1277598 Flexible heat insulated tubes PPG INDUSTRIES Inc 16 Sept 1969 [17 Sept 1968] 45481/69 Heading F2P A thermally insulated flexible tube, as detailed in co-pending Application No. 43352/69 is provided with one or more longitudinal means 16 fastened between end connector members 10, 12 at lugs 24 to enhance the tensile strength of the tube. Two galvanized steel wires or fibreglass cords are arranged diametrically opposite each other and secured to lugs 24, to constitute the members 16. Alternatives for the members 16 consist of lengths of strand, yarn, or weftless warp. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 1,083,399.
