The oil inlet (10) of the centrifuge is provided with a safety valve (12), which prevents the intake of oil into the centrifuge when the centrifugal insert (4) is missing, or limits the volume flow when the centrifugal insert is available. The valve slider (13), as a result of the oil pressure, is displaced inside the oil filter in its sealing position, and is held in that position.
