The invention relates to a system for measuring a low-frequency or continuous magnetic field. The inventive system comprises: a source (42, 44) which can create a high-frequency magnetic field that is intended to be amplitude modulated, said high-frequency magnetic field being combined with the magnetic field to be measured in order to create a resultant magnetic field having an amplitude which is a function of the value of the magnetic field to be measured and of the amplitude of the high-frequency magnetic field; an element which is made from magnetic material (28) and which is placed in the resultant magnetic field; and a magnetic field sensor (4) which is associated with the magnetic element (28), such as to measure the magnetic field created around said element by the resultant magnetic field.
