FIELD: power engineering; gas-tight joints for boiler unit convective shaft components. ^ SUBSTANCE: proposed expansion device designed to ensure compensation for spatial temperature displacements of joints without escape of bulk material is characterized in layer-by-layer placement of bulk material in its trough; grain size of material in lower near-bottom layer is maximal at lowest coefficient of heterogeneity, and immersible knife end is driven into this material; particles in next layers are smaller than those of respective underlayer material. ^ EFFECT: enhanced operating reliability and reduced air ingress into boiler flue. ^ 1 cl, 1 dwg |
