An articulating tray assembly for mounting on a support member, such as a wheelchair side frame member 2, can be self stored and moved from the storage position to an operating position either inside or outside of the support member by manipulation of a single clamping knob 18. Forward and rearward movement of the tray 4 is controlled by a second clamping knob 31. Support arm 5, which is pivotally connected to the tray 4, is releasably and rotatably secured to the support member 2 by connecting means comprising first clamping means 3 and second clamping means 7. Clamping means 3 receive the support arm 5 for vertical sliding movement and rotation about a vertical axis when the tray is horizontal, and rotation so as to move the support arm from its vertical operative position to a horizontal storage position and clamp the arm in any selected position. |
