Clearing chain

The clearing chain (1) has a transverse guide (9) connected to longitudinal guides (12) via guide joints (10). The guides form a channel (13) with upper and lower slide paths (17), and a connecting end slide path (18). The guide joints are positioned below the rotary plane (7), which extends centrally through the end slide path. Deflection of the chain in the area of the guide joints is by slide friction only. The transitional area between the guides is formed from highly wear-resistant material.
