In order to attach a cable (30) to a substrate in a secure, tamper-proof manner, a device (10) is provided which comprises an elongate strip of substantially rigid material having apertures (14) therein to enable it to be attached to a substrate by fastening means, such as bolts or screws (20) or the like, and having upturned tabs (16) at each end, each tab (16) also having an aperture (18) therein. In use, a cable is passed through the apertures (18) in both of the tabs (16) so as to overlie the fastening means (20). A secondary member in the form of a plate (12) having slits (13, 15) therein may additionally be provided to fit over the respective upturned tabs (16). The cable (30) can then be passed back through the apertures (18) above said plate (12). |
