The method involves using a measurement sensor (7) with a temperature dependent resistance (RTD) and a thermo element pair (TC1,TC2) in a difference circuit for compensating the inertia of the resistance during dynamic temperature changes. The current flowing in the temperature dependent resistance (IRTD) is adjusted depending on the present working temperature so that it is proportional to the ratio of the temperature sensitivities of the thermo element pair and temperature dependent resistance for this working temperature : An independent claim is also included for the following: (a) an arrangement for implementing the inventive temperature measurement method.
