<p>The arrangement has a setting plug for accommodating a pre-bent brush holder with a planing surface (54) along which the sections forming the closing surface of the carbon brush holder extend, bending jaws (22,24) on the edge region of the planing surface, a lowerable core bending rod (30) between the jaws and sliding press elements (56) running along the outer surfaces of the jaws, with which they interact. The bending jaws protrude pivotably from a first element or guide plate and the core bending rod protrudes from a second element or pressure plate (42,32) that are adjustable in interaction with each other. The sliding pressure elements are adjustable relative to the bending jaws independently of movement of the first and second elements. An independent claim is also included for the following: (a) a method of closing a carbon brush holder.</p> |
