<p>A laboratory centrifuge has a carousel with a series of detachable sample holders (1) hooked to the outer margin. Each sample holder has an essentially tubular shank terminating in a conical tip. The tubular shank has a bayonet cap closure fitting over the sample holder rim. The sample holder may be beaker-shaped and has L-shaped grooves for the bayonet pins.</p> |
