Once a number or a symbol has been selected, it cannot be changed. The numbers and symbols are provided on both sides of a support and the corresponding lamps 101 are controlled by individual, switches 102. A switch 106 is provided for simultaneously opening all the lamp circuits at the end of each bidding cycle. The lamps are controlled by means of an electronic circuit. The lamps may be replaced by electroluminescent material, mechanically-operable means or projectors. |
