The seal (4) between the dam wall panel (2) and an external object comprises an elastomer with a closed cell structure. A dam wall (1) for liquids comprises at least one wall panel at least predominantly comprising a liquid-impermeable material and at least one flexible seal connected to at least side of the panel so that a liquid-tight seal is provided between the panel and an external object. The seal comprises an elastomer with a substantially closed cell structure. Independent claims are also included for the following: (a) Dam arrangement comprising the dam wall and at least one sealing profile; and (b) Damming method comprising the positioning of the sealing profiles, sliding the dam wall into the profiles and pressing the sealing profiles together.
