Nucleic acids encoding mammalian, e.g., rodent, IL-1delta, IL-1epsilon, purified IL-1delta and IL-1epsilon proteins and fragments thereof. Antibodies, both polyclonal and monoclonal, are also provided. Methods of using the compositions for both diagnostic and therapeutic utilities are provided.
