PURPOSE: An energy generation system is provided to reduce the power consumption by moving downward an elevator using its weight and to generate the electricity. CONSTITUTION: An energy generation system for an elevator comprises a driving pulley unit(10), a power generation unit(20), a power transferring unit(30), a control unit(40), a power storing unit, an energy storing device(100) and a generator. The driving pulley unit contains a pulley(11) to be rolled a rod(R) to support an elevator(E), a brake drum(13) to be braked by a first brake(12) by installing in the pulley, a brake gear(15) to be braked by a second brake(14) by installing in the pulley and a first and a third clutches(C1,C3) to be installed in both shafts of the pulley. The power generation unit contains a second clutch(C2) to be selectively combined with the first clutch by interlocking with a first solenoid(21) and a power motor(23) having a shaft(23a) to be splined with the second clutch. The power transferring unit contains a fourth clutch(C4) to be selectively combined with the third clutch by interlocking with a second solenoid(31) and a power transferring gear(33) to be splined with the fourth clutch. The control unit operates the first solenoid and the second solenoid oppositely. The power storing unit stores power from the power transferring unit. The generator generates the electricity by driving through the stored power in the power storing unit. |
