PURPOSE: An underwater structure for a river foundation and a construction method thereof are provided to minimize the length of a pipe line, to secure effective function of the underwater foundation without a pump, and to smooth the flow of the river. CONSTITUTION: An underwater structure for a river foundation is composed of a body(100) installed under the water to receive a nozzle(220), a pump(200), and a pipe line(210) therein and an inclined surface(111) for facing an upper stream of the river of the body and sloping down to a lower stream. An upper end of the nozzle is exposed out of the surface of the river. The pump pumps out the water of the river to the nozzle. The pipe line connects the pump with the nozzle. Plural current control pipes(114) are opened toward the upper stream of the river and arranged at the lateral wall of the body. |
