METHOD FOR ADJUSTING WEF STORAGE AREA INCLUDED AT LEAST ONE ICC OF SMART CARD

PURPOSE: A method for adjusting a WEF(Work Element File) storage area of a smart card through the network is provided to reuse the smart card by adjusting an ICC(IC Chip) information storing area of the smart card, as the WEF storage area is adjusted. CONSTITUTION: A card terminal extracts the WEF storage area information for the WEF storage area stored in the ICC storage area of the smart card(210). The card terminal transmits the WEF storage area information to a server through the network(215). The server adjusts the storage area information of the WEF storage area information and transmits it to the card terminal(235). The card terminal adjusts the WEF storage area information of the ICC storage area of the smart card based on the adjusted WEF storage area information(245).
