PURPOSE: A power control method capable of limiting a use time according to a user is provided to restrain the unnecessary waste of time by blocking power supplied to a device for limiting the use time, such as a television, a computer and a game machine. CONSTITUTION: A parent previously inputs a limit time and a limit period according to a user. If the input of the parent is completed, the supply of power is allowed. If the power is blocked, the blocking of the power is sensed and a use time is accumulated. If the use time accumulated within the limit time exceeds a previously input primary use time, warning is displayed. If the accumulated use time exceeds a secondary use time, the supply of power is not allowed.
