PURPOSE: To provide a filter press drying device, which is able to simply remove iron content and iron oxides contained in the acid washing water that is used in a washing line of a metal treatment place, thereby significantly extending a using time of the acid washing water. CONSTITUTION: In a filter press drying device comprising many membrane filter plates between a fixed plate (2) and a pressure plate (4) that is slidingly-moved by a cylinder (3), filter clothes (5) that are placed between adjacent membrane filter plates to discharge filtrate from object to be dehydrated such as slurry and filter the slurry, the device is characterized in that a pipe (10) connected with a washing water tank (9) is laid between a pump and a discharge part such as a filtrate discharge pipe (15) or a filtrate hopper that is installed at a lower side of the filter plate to circulate and filter acid washing water in the washing water tank, and a magnetic plate (11) is inserted into the filter cloth to easily remove iron content and iron oxides from the acid washing water.
