摘要 PURPOSE: An automatic compensating system of a welding robot is provided to improve the operability of the vehicle assembly line and the productivity, to make the best use of installation space of the assembly line, and to extend the life span of the welding robot by automatically adjusting the welding program and reducing correction time and manpower. CONSTITUTION: An automatic welding robot compensating system comprises two welding robots(110,112) spaced from the each other, a robot controller(120) controlling the welding robots entirely, a tool center point position detecting unit(130) installed between the welding robots to measure the position of the welding robots and the tool center point and transmit data to the robot controller, and a system control unit(140) deciding and recording the reference position of each welding robot and the tool center point by receiving data such as the position of the welding robot, motion of the unit and the tool center point from the tool center point position detecting unit and the robot controller, compensating by analyzing and comparing the reference position of the welding robot and the tool center point with the modified position of the welding robot at a collision, and automatically returning the welding robot by automatically compensating program of the welding robot.
